考查汉语非第一语言的中小学生在日常生活和学习中运用汉语的能力。YCT分笔试和口语两部分，笔试和口语相互独立，笔试包括一到四级，口试包括初级和中级，口语采用录音形式。

Youth ChineseTest (YCT) assesses primary and middle school students’ ability of using Chinese as a second language in their daily and academic lives. YCT is composed of two independents parts: writing and speaking. The writing test consists of four levels: YCT 1 to YCT 4. The speaking test consists of two levels: YCT Speaking Primary Level and YCT Speaking Intermediate Level.
