旁遮普省大学孔子学院成立于2015年7月2日，位于巴基斯坦人口最多、经济文化最发达的城市拉合尔，是由巴基斯坦旁遮普大学和中国江西理工大学合作共建的一所孔子学院，也是巴基斯坦参与“一带一路”倡议的第四所孔子学院。旁遮普大学成立于1882年，是巴基斯坦最古老的大学之一，曾培养出3名诺贝尔奖得主，是巴基斯坦学生人数最多的大学之一。江西理工大学创建于1958年，是中国有色金属工业和钢铁工业重要的人才培养和科研基地，被誉为“有色冶金人才的摇篮”。

About Us
Confucius Institute at University of the Punjab (CIPU) is established on July 2, 2015, itis located in Lahore, Pakistan's most populous, economically and culturally most developed city, created with the MOU between University of the Punjab in Pakistan and Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in China. It's the 4th Confucius Institute in Pakistan where the One Road One Belt initiative is involved. University of the Punjab was founded in 1882, it is one of the oldest universities in Pakistan. It has 3 Nobel Prize winners, the largest number of Pakistani students. JXUST was founded in 1958 in Ganzhou, Jiangxi province, China and it is famous for offering specialization in the field of non-ferrous metal (or rare earth metals) as Ganzhou is rich in its non-ferrous metals reserves.
The Confucius Institute at Punjab University has highest-quality Chinese teachers and advanced language laboratories. Here you can not only learn Chinese language, master Chinese traditional arts, understand Chinese excellent traditional culture, and participate in rich cultural activities, thereby promoting mutual learning between Chinese and Pakistani civilizations and deepening China-Pakistan friendship.
