国际中文教师奖学金申请办法

 

为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。

孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习和进修汉语国际教育及相关专业。

 

一、资助对象

1. 非中国籍人士；

2. 身心健康，品学兼优；

3. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；

4.年龄为 16-35 周岁（统一以 2021 年 9 月 1 日计）。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过 25 周岁。

三、办理流程

2021 年 3 月 1 日起，申请者可登录国际中文教师奖学金报名网站（cis.chinese.cn）申请国际中文教师奖学金。

国际中文教师奖学金报名网站，查询推荐机构为江西理工大学。

02上 传

在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果。

03确认与打印

奖学金获得者与接收院校确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书。

04报 到

按接收院校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

 

四、申请截止日期

2021年5月 15 日 ——针对 2021年 9 月入学的新生；

2021年9 月 15 日 ——针对 2021 年 12 月入学的新生；

2021年11 月 15 日 ——针对 2022 年 3 月入学的新生。

中心委托专家组集中评审：根据 HSK、HSKK 考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约 3 个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。

 

五、关于汉语桥获奖者

在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 2021 年度“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。如有问题，请咨询 chinesebridge@chinese.cn。

 

六、其他

1. 相关专业培养方案与教学课程，可咨询江西理工大学。

2. 申请者须了解目标接收院校的具体招生条件及报名截止时间，按照相关规定提交申请材 。

3. 学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。

4. 未按时报到、入学体检不合格、中途退学、休学者，取消奖学金资格。

International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

 

The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, provided by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), invites applications from overseas Chinese language teachers. This scholarship serves the purpose of satisfying the growing demands of the International communities for qualified Chinese language teachers, and facilitating International education of Chinese language outside of China. The applications to Jiangxi University of Science and Techonology (JXUST) in particular for such a scholarship should follow the guidelines below, a version with reference to the Application Guide for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2021 released by CLEC:

 

I. ELIGIBILITY

All applicants shall be:

a) non-Chinese citizens;

b)in good physical and mental conditions, with good academic performance and conduct;

c) committed to the Chinese language education and related work;

d) between the ages of 16 and 35 (as of September1, 2021). Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall not be over 45 years old, while undergraduate student applicants shall not be over 25 years old.

III. APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Online registration will be available from March 1, 2021 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (cis.chinese.cn).

Log in to the website http://cis.chinese.cn and search recommendation institutions : Jiangxi University of Science and Technology.

02 Upload

Upload application materials online, track the application progress and feedback.

03 Confirm and Print

Scholarship winners need to confirm with the host institutions about the formalities needed for studying in China and print CIS certificate online.

04 Register

Register at JXUST on time as per the time stipulated in the admission notice.

 

IV. Application Deadlines (Beijing time)

May 15th ---- For new comers starting courses in September, 2021

September 15th ---- For new comers starting courses in December, 2021

November 15th ---- For new comers starting courses in March, 2022

 

CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be made based on HSK and HSKK scores and levels, and in consideration of country distribution as well as other factors. The results will be published about three months before the school starts.

 

V. CHINESE BRIDGE AWARD RECIPIENT POLICIES

Chinese Bridge winners who have been awarded the 2021 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship shall log onto the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website and submit documents to JXUST upon presentation of their scholarship certificates.

VI. OTHERS

1. Please contact JXUST about relevant cultivating plans and courses.

2. Applicants shall be familiar with the specific criteria and closing dates for registration, and follow specific procedures to submit necessary documents.

3. Degree students shall accept the annual assessment under the Annual Appraisal Procedures of International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.

4. Those who failed to register on time, failed to pass the health assessment, dropped out midway and/or suspended from school will be deprived of their scholarship.

Application Documents

1. For all applicants

A scanned copy of the passport page with your personal information

A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity)

A recommendation letter by the head of the recommendation institutions

 

2. For degree scholarship program applicants

Provide a certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official school transcript.

 

3.In-service Chinese teachers shall submit certificate of employment and recommendation letters provided by institutes they work for.

 

4. Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
